istanbul
in gold and stone
Istanbul is unfairly photogenic: dense, chaotic, and somehow still ridiculously beautiful.
This collection is my attempt to capture the city’s architecture, where Byzantine layers, Ottoman details, domes, minarets, stone, shadows, and golden light all compete for attention, yet somehow work together. In real life, the city can feel overwhelming. Through the lens, the chaos turns into something strangely balanced — and very easy to love.
