ISTANBUL: A STREET PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTION

Overwhelming. Yes, that’s the word I’ve chosen to describe Istanbul. Being there for the first time — and also as a (self-proclaimed) photographer — was absolutely overwhelming. My mind kept bouncing between framing the perfect shot and actually enjoying the city. Luckily, I decided to spend nine (freaking) days there. A friend even asked what on earth I was doing for that long. But those extra days meant I could slow down, enjoy my hobby, play with cats (the true highlight, honestly), and take in the beauty of Const — I mean — Istanbul.

So here it is: my take on street photography in a city that refuses to make anything simple.
